The Hotel & Spa Rosa Alpina, is a family run hotel that can trace its roots to 1850, when the foundation stones were first laid. The Pizzinini family have been pivotal in the development of skiing in this dramatic part of the Dolomites, they built the first Ski Lift in San Cassiano in 1957, you really are staying in the historic heartland of Italian Skiing.

Enjoy the Rosa Alpina’s unique concept of three restaurants, you are free to chose whether to have dinner in the intimate Fondue Stubben, in the informal Wine Bar and Grill or in the elegant Michelin-starred St. Hubertus. Room prices are based on a bed and breakfast basis, giving you the opportunity to let your palate guide you to make the most of the culinary talents of this foodie paradise in the mountains.

There are 51 rooms and suites as well as an exclusive Penthouse Suite that have all been individually designed in a unique and authentic Alpine style.The Hotel offers a vast array of different room types.

The Rosa Alpina is one of the few Dolomite hotels that feature DeLuxe Single Rooms (27 m²) are equipped with a queen-sized bed and a bathroom with shower as well as a small sitting area.

The Deluxe Double Rooms, (30 – 41 m²), are divided between those that have a  balcony facing south and  those with a more spacious living area and bathroom. They  all feature a Ladin style living area with local antique furnishings. The bathrooms have  ceramic or marble bath’s with shower, some with walk-in shower and double basins.

Spacious and elegantly decorated with precious fabrics, the Junior Suites, (43 – 50 m²),  provide a haven of comfort and relaxation during your stay. They are individually themed and furnished with great attention for detail.Junior Suites are equipped with a stylish living area, twin beds, some have a balcony. The spacious bathrooms feature bathtub, walk-in shower and double basins.

Suites (44-58m²), have a living area which can be separated from the bedroom. The Suites are decorated individually, with themes that reflect the local culture.They include a comfortable sitting area with sofa with a fire-place or traditional  alpine tiled stove. Some Suites are on two floors. The bathrooms feature walk-in showers, bath tub and double basins.

Luxury Châlet Loft Suites have a traditional elegance with a modern twist

Exquisitely unique, each of the state-of-the-art Châlet Loft Suites in the wooden Chalet wing, encompasses charming variations of the local style that is so distinctive to this area of the Italian Dolomites. The Loft Suites are open-plan and are approximately 50 m² with a 10 m² south facing terrace have flat-screen televisions, stereos and high speed internet access. The open fireplace provides a welcoming focal point, while a relaxing sitting area and natural wooden floors recycled from an ancient Austrian farm house add warmth to the sophisticated accommodation. Supremely relaxing beds with luxurious touches such as goose down duvets provide ultimate comfort, while indulgent and spacious marble bathrooms with hammam showers and bathtub, complement this very special hotel experience.

Penthouse Suite “Aquila Reale” Your luxurious apartment with stunning mountain views to the Dolomites

Located on the fourth floor of the “Engelstrakt” wing, the spacious Penthouse Suite with two-Bedrooms, plus Staff room offers fully equipped kitchen, spacious living area for relaxation and entertaining with a cozy fire-place. Views of the mountain may be enjoyed from outdoors and indoors.

  • The living area offers a fireplace, dining table and a double sofa bed. The living area is equipped with large LCD TV, DVD, Wii console for entertainment, two further TVs  in the Bedrooms.
  • The dining area seats up to six people and the Bulthaup kitchen is fully equipped. Upon request, a Chef and waiter are available for private dinners, wine tastings, cooking classes.
  • Additional amenities include direct dial dual-line telephones, high-speed Internet access, in-room safe, a built-in work area and oversized closets.
  • Two bathrooms. feature vanities, separate deep soaking tub, glass-enclosed shower and WC.
